Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Onsite most weekdays – Portland, Oregon (relocation assistance available)
Compensation: $250K–$260K base + performance bonus up to 40%

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy and operations for a growing, multi-location organization. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will serve as a key advisor on all financial matters and play a critical role in shaping the company’s future. The CFO will oversee finance, accounting, treasury, risk management, pricing strategy, and technology initiatives, ensuring scalable processes and strong financial governance.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a business poised for significant expansion through organic growth and acquisitions. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic vision and thrives in dynamic environments.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Financial Strategy: Own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support growth and profitability.
- Lead Treasury & Risk Management: Manage banking relationships, liquidity planning, and insurance programs.
- Guide Pricing & Profitability: Develop pricing strategies and governance to optimize margins.
- Enable Technology & Data: Oversee ERP systems, analytics platforms, and integration projects to improve decision-making.
- Support M&A Activity: Lead financial due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions.
- Build & Mentor Teams: Develop a high-performing finance and IT team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CMA required (inactive okay), MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including treasury and strategic planning.
- Proven success in high-growth environments and M&A integration – experience with <$500M companies strongly preferred
- Strong ERP and financial systems expertise; experience with analytics and data governance.
- IT leadership or oversight including IT roadmap development
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence across all levels.
- Hands-on approach with a focus on scalable processes and team development.
