Our client is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on providing increased access to life-changing medications for patients and healthcare providers.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a pivotal executive leader, serving as a trusted strategic partner to the President & CEO, the Board of Directors, investors, and the broader executive team. The CFO will oversee all core financial functions; accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, accounting, as well as providing executive oversight of information technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, influencing strategic decisions and aligning financial strategy with corporate growth objectives.
- Develop and implement multi-year financial plans, detailed budgets, and performance metrics that align with strategic priorities.
- Define and execute capital formation strategies, raise equity and debt, and broadening financing options to support commercial expansion, and strategic acquisitions.
- Build, mentor, and inspire finance organization to drive high performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance within industry, ideally in a mid-size pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
- Prior experience in private equity–backed organizations preferred.
- Proven success raising capital and managing relationships with banks, investors, and external stakeholders.
This company is located in the southeast, and the role is onsite.
