Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in automotive, trucking, or industrial services.
- Proven track record as a strategic partner to senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, inventory management, and service profitability.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strategic Leadership & Partnership
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and long-term value.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making across operations, sales, service, and parts.
- Act as a thought partner in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and capital investments.
- Model and support acquisition opportunities across a variety of industries.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic goals and operational efficiency.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with department heads to improve financial performance, cost control, and margin enhancement.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Drive automation and system improvements to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax filings, and audit standards.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
