About The Role
As the Director of Sales Operations, you will be instrumental in driving our sales team's success by optimizing our lead management processes. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing leads, improving conversion rates, and enhancing overall sales productivity.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, helping shape our operational direction while staying close to day-to-day execution. You’ll balance high-level operational oversight with hands-on ownership of the systems, processes, and insights that keep the sales engine running efficiently.
The Director of Sales Operations helps keep our sales team running smoothly by identifying opportunities for improvement through data insights and broadening our market presence. This role involves managing lead distribution to Account Executives, identifying trends in the sales execution process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering performance reports for sales leadership. It’s a dynamic position that demands quick problem-solving and a keen eye for detail — along with the judgment to guide operational decisions that influence the direction of the sales organization.
We’re seeking someone with a proactive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. If you're excited by new challenges, ready to step into greater leadership influence, and comfortable switching between strategic thinking and tactical action, this position is for you.
You will…
- Develop and maintain an industry best lead database in terms of both scale and accuracy
- Work closely with Sales leadership to help establish, communicate, and enact sales processes and strategies, including recommending enhancements that improve scalability and operational performance
- Lead allocation and circulation, including assigning new demo requests and newly loaded leads, while continually refining our lead management framework to improve speed-to-lead and conversion outcomes
- Work closely with Sales Management to communicate best practices about the sales process to salespeople in the office and influence adoption of key operational standards
- Work cross-functionally with our sales team, ensuring that they are prepared to close any spectrum of deal, from cold outreach all the way to proactive preparation ahead of industry conferences and in-person meetings
- Analyze performance on several levels, ranging from macro-analysis (office growth) to micro-analysis (individual representative performance), and provide insights to guide decision-making at the leadership level
- Understand where we're winning and help our team execute by highlighting strong-performing cohorts and segments, and propose adjustments to territory, outreach, or enablement strategies when needed
- Be prepared to assist with a variety of projects from general sales operations through client onboarding. Our goal is to help clients succeed through go-live, and it’s the responsibility of everyone in our teams — with this role often taking the lead on operational coordination
- Communicate with salespeople on a daily basis regarding prospective clients targeted in the CRM, ensuring system accuracy and championing CRM best practices
- Assist broader North America commercial team operations where needed, helping drive alignment and operational consistency across teams
Requirements…
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations or a similar role within a B2B SaaS company, ideally with exposure to supporting senior leadership or shaping operational processes
- Proven expertise in lead management processes and best practices, including experience optimizing systems and workflows at scale
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive business decisions, including communicating insights to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence process adoption across the sales organization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for sales and a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes, along with the confidence to recommend strategic adjustments when needed
