Chief Sales Officer (CSO) — (Remote)

We’re looking for a Chief Sales Officer who is a builder at heart. Someone who knows how to lead leaders, develop structure, enforce accountability, and drive meaningful revenue growth. Someone who can think strategically but execute tactically. Someone who thrives in fast, high-volume environments and knows how to turn chaos into clarity.

What You’ll Lead
You’ll oversee all revenue-driving departments:
- Inbound Sales
- Account Management
- Pro Services (commercial division)
- Sales Operations / Process Improvements
You will manage multiple managers, unify the teams, build structure, and directly drive revenue improvement across the board.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor sales & operations managers
- Build a high-performance sales organization with clear structure
- Create and enforce KPI frameworks across all teams
- Improve follow-up, conversions, AM revenue, and overall sales execution
- Build scalable processes, playbooks, and accountability systems
- Develop and launch strategic revenue initiatives
- Tighten alignment between sales, operations, and customer experience
- Solve bottlenecks, remove roadblocks, and improve cross-team flow
- Monitor daily/weekly sales KPIs and act quickly when performance slips
- Develop incentive plans and compensation structures that drive performance
- Report directly to ownership with insights, strategy, and execution plans
Who You Are
- You’ve managed managers (not just reps) in a multi-team environment
- Strong operator — you execute, not just strategize
- Comfortable with high volume, high urgency, and fast-growth environments
- You love structure, KPIs, dashboards, and accountability
- Builder mindset — you fix systems and elevate teams
- Clear communicator with strong leadership presence
- Experience aligning sales + ops in service-based industries
- You enjoy taking ownership and moving quickly
- You are allergic to excuses, lack of follow-through, and sloppy execution
Preferred Backgrounds
You should have experience in at least one of the following:
- Equipment rental (Sunbelt, Herc, United Rentals, etc.)
- Waste/roll-off/porta potty/fencing/storage container operations
- High-volume inside sales or call center leadership
- Fast-growing startup or founder-led organizations
- Field services with scaled revenue teams
These industries develop leaders who know urgency, operations, volume, and accountability.
