Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Maryland. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility and occasional travel for board meetings.

Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

Provide strategic financial leadership to support organizational goals.

Collaborate with executive leadership and board members on financial planning and reporting.

Ensure adherence to nonprofit financial regulations and best practices.

Lead and mentor the finance team to maintain operational excellence.

CPA required; MBA highly preferred.

Minimum 10 years of nonprofit financial leadership experience.

Proven ability to manage complex budgets and multi-location operations.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional leadership.
Monday - Friday, with occasional travel required for board meetings.
