Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. The role involves strategic planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, tax compliance and ensuring fiscal responsibility to support sustainable growth and profitability.
NP: 15 days to 1 month preferably

Interview process: For locals of Mumbai, in-person is required
Budget: 45 LPA
Education: CA or ICWAI is highly preferred (though Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics is fine).

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, budgeting, and capital structure.
- Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax (GST, IT, Customs), and financial reporting functions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage insurance, audits, and legal financial obligations.
- Investor Relations
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to investors and analysts.
- Support financial reporting and fund utilisation certification to investors.
- Team Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA or ICWAI preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a senior executive role.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, INDAS/GAAP, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and operational efficiency.
