This leading global MNC manufacturers products for both the commercial and residential construction markets that are market leaders. The ANZ subsidiary has invested significantly into its local manufacturing operation site to grow this start-up operation after an acquisition of a local privately held business.
Role
Reporting to the local MD and NZ GM, the ANZ CFO will streamline the regional accounting operations, enhance financial reporting, and lead an SAP finance transformation in alignment with strategic goals. The role will champion the finance function across ANZ leading a team of 10 people, ensuring accurate IFRS and local compliance, half-yearly and annual closings, accounting for BOM and standard costings and managing internal and external audits. Further key responsibilities will include contributing to financial forecasting and statutory consolidation, budget, and forecasting, working capital and cash generation opportunities. The role will also move to implement a dashboard/KPI business partnering model to improve accuracy of the numbers and assist with commercial decision making.
Requirements
The ideal candidate thrives on leading with innovation Systems implementations, has capacity for strong project management, and can effectively manage remote and local teams and has a deep understanding of IFRS, taxation and compliance. This role will include some travel in ANZ at certain times of the year. Hands on Leadership of a small team and experience in uplifting teams from a non MNC environment into a corporate reporting regime will be highly regarded.
