About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy IT & Sales Operations Manager to lead technology initiatives, streamline systems, and support cross-functional operations. This role blends IT project management, sales operations, and hands-on field coordination — ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys both digital systems and real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead IT Projects
- Plan, execute, and report on IT initiatives that enhance internal tools, workflows, and external-facing systems.
2. Drive Sales Productivity
- Build dashboards, automate workflows, and optimize CRM processes to support forecasting, territory planning, and follow-up cadence.
3. Manage People & Projects
- Coordinate small project teams, manage timelines, and ensure accountability to deliverables.
4. Oversee Data & System Integrations
- Maintain data quality and governance across platforms (CRM, operations systems, etc.).
- Scope and implement system integrations and automations to reduce manual work.
5. Support Operations & Field Activities
- Assist with school/vendor onboarding, site visits, meal distribution audits, and training.
6. Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to analyze performance and translate insights into action.
7. Contribute as Needed
- Support the broader team and organization by pitching in on additional initiatives as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of workflow automation and integration tools such as Make (Integromat), Zapier, or Google Apps Script.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms such as Jira and Notion.
- Skilled in data analysis and visualization using Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Understanding of cloud-based tools and API integrations to connect systems and streamline processes.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Leadership & Communication: Skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing priorities, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in hybrid settings and supporting both office-based and field operations.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining data accuracy and high operational standards.
- Vehicle & Travel: Access to a personal vehicle for field and site-related travel (reimbursed per policy).
Eligibility (Funding Contingent)
This role is funded through an external grant and contingent on funding approval. To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria at the start of the contract:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age.
- A post-secondary graduate (not required if residing in Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut).
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee status.
- Able to self-identify as underemployed (working below education level, unemployed, or part-time).
