Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CFO to manage the financial operations of our Clients trucking company. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in transportation or logistics accounting.
Responsibilities include:
- Driver payroll and settlements
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Invoicing and collections
- Financial reporting and reconciliation
- Compliance with industry and tax requirements
- Analyzing route profitability and fleet financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven accounting experience (trucking/logistics Must have)
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategies aligned with company goals, supporting expansion and efficiency.
- Operational Finance: Partner with operations to optimize routes, manage fuel costs, improve warehouse profitability, and control overall logistics expenses.
- Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage working capital, optimize cash flow, and oversee capital allocation for fleet, technology, and investments.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, interest rates, and market volatility, and manage ESG reporting.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements; oversee audits and accurate financial reporting.
