Location: Atlanta Metro Area (On-Site Required)
Compensation: $285,000 – $305,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Equity Participation

E57 Partners is partnering with a private equity-backed company to identify a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function for a business headquartered in the Atlanta Metro Area.
The business is supported by an investment group that operates more like a family office than a traditional private equity firm—focused on long-term ownership, operational excellence, and sustained cash flow generation.
This is not a short-term, exit-driven environment. The strategy is centered on building and growing durable businesses over a 10+ year horizon, with a focus on financial discipline, scalability, and consistent performance.
The CFO will play a critical role in partnering with the CEO and leadership team to build a best-in-class finance organization and support long-term value creation.
Role Summary
The CFO will have full ownership of the finance function, responsible for driving financial strategy, operational discipline, and performance visibility across the business.
This includes:
- Leading all accounting, FP&A, and finance operations
- Building scalable financial infrastructure and reporting capabilities
- Driving EBITDA growth and free cash flow generation
- Supporting strategic decision-making through data and insights
- Partnering closely with the CEO on long-term business strategy

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO on financial performance and business planning
- Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and capital allocation
- Support strategic initiatives with data-driven insights and analysis
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee all accounting functions, including month-end close and financial reporting
- Ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Build and strengthen internal controls and processes
FP&A & Performance Management
- Develop and lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to drive visibility and accountability
- Provide actionable insights to improve performance and decision-making
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Drive strong cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Monitor liquidity, capital deployment, and return on investment
- Ensure disciplined financial management aligned with long-term objectives
Systems & Infrastructure
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to support scalability
- Improve data integrity, reporting capabilities, and automation
- Build a finance infrastructure that supports long-term growth
Team Leadership & Organizational Build
- Assess, build, and lead a high-performing finance team
- Develop talent and create a culture of accountability and execution
- Align finance with operations to support business objectives
Board & Investor Partnership
- Serve as a key interface with ownership and Board stakeholders
- Deliver clear, concise, and data-driven financial reporting
- Support investor communications and strategic discussions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a private equity-backed or family office-style environment
- Strong background in accounting, FP&A, and financial operations
- Demonstrated success driving EBITDA growth and cash flow performance
- Experience building or scaling finance functions
- Deep understanding of operational finance and business drivers
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Experience working closely with CEOs, investors, and Boards
