We are appointing a Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the global finance function and act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, supporting the company’s continued international growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role with a globally distributed client base and finance team. The role requires significant international travel (50%+), primarily across China, US, Europe, as well as strong comfort working across time zones.
Role Overview
- Full ownership of group finance, including financial reporting, consolidation, controls, governance, tax, treasury, and risk management
- Drive financial strategy, performance management, and long-term planning at group level
- Lead M&A, capital markets, fundraising, and investor relations initiatives
- Act as a trusted business partner to the CEO and senior stakeholders globally
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing international finance team
Requirements
- Proven Group CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a US-listed environment
- Strong background in Big Four and/or investment banking preferred
- Mandarin-speaking is a must, given extensive engagement with China-based stakeholders
- CA / CPA qualification is a strong plus
- If no prior US-listed CFO experience, candidates must demonstrate CFO-level ownership of US GAAP and/or exposure to US or Hong Kong listing projects, alongside familiarity with China-based companies
