IT Sales Operations Lead
Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, South Coast, or Glasgow
Salary: £65k to £75k
Full time: Permanent
Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office
We are on the lookout for a forward-thinking Operations Lead who thrives on transformation. In this pivotal role, you will act as the driving force behind the IT Leasing Solutions team, championing operational excellence and strategic innovation. This will be a chance to fundamentally reshape how our client delivers value to customers and sales teams by building streamlined processes. You will lead a team to ensure the company’s long-term growth and success.
The Role:
- Ensure all activities align with data protection and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, and Finance to support business growth while maintaining compliance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of risk procedures and credit stewardship.
- Evaluate how asset financing decisions impact the company’s overall financial health.
- Partner with Credit and Commercial Risk teams to develop effective payment strategies for customers requiring deferred terms.
- Identify and leverage individual strengths within the team to maximise potential and efficiency.
- Commit to continuous learning, ensuring your expertise remains current and provides value to both clients and colleagues.
- Promote a "work smarter" culture by optimising team output and resources.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Proactively challenge existing workflows and stay updated on industry trends to enhance the effectiveness of our client’s financing solutions.
Skills we are looking for:
- University degree preferred.
- Experience within the financial services sector is essential.
- Ideally 4+ years of experience in lease finance sales, with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Deep understanding of financial services, specifically IT leasing, receivables transactions, and sales enablement financing.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to articulate value to customers.
- Experienced in managing commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and senior internal/external stakeholders.
For the top end of the salary available, you'll be a highly experienced IT Leasing Specialist with experience gained in fast paced commercial organisations.
