Role Overview
Soulera is seeking a visionary Head of Business Development & Sales to drive
revenue growth and establish strategic partnerships. This role combines sales
leadership with business development to identify new revenue streams, build key
relationships, and execute go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
● Build and lead a sales organisation; establish sales culture and best practices
● Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for products and services
● Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities
● Lead enterprise sales efforts and complex negotiations
● Establish sales processes, metrics, and CRM best practices
● Build B2B and B2C sales channels; explore new revenue models
● Develop customer success and retention strategies
● Create sales collateral, pitch decks, and marketing support materials
● Represent Soulera with key stakeholders, partners, and customers
● Collaborate with Product and Marketing on customer insights
● Manage sales budget and forecast; track metrics and KPIs
● Build and mentor sales team members
● Drive business development initiatives and ecosystem partnerships
● Lead investor communications and fundraising support
Required Qualifications
● 10+ years of sales and business development experience
● Minimum 4+ years in leadership roles managing sales teams
● Proven success in building sales organisations from the ground up
● Track record of closing enterprise deals and significant partnerships
● Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
● Experience in technology, SaaS, or B2B services
● Excellent communication and presentation abilities
● Data-driven approach to sales and business metrics
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
● Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
Preferred Qualifications
● Background in Indian markets and the startup ecosystem
● Experience in AI, analytics, or enterprise software
● Knowledge of partnership models and ecosystem building
● Previous founder or leadership experience
● Experience with ARR growth and SaaS metrics
● Familiarity with investor pitch and fundraising narrative
● Understanding of different sales models and channels
