Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of a prominent retail gems and jewellery enterprise and its subsidiaries. This is a high-impact executive leadership role suited for a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in listed company environments, IPO readiness, corporate governance, and large-scale retail expansion.
As a core member of the executive leadership team and a trusted advisor to the Board and Promoters, you will spearhead financial transformation, strengthen governance frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Board Advisory
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Board and Promoters, delivering data-driven financial insights to support long-term business growth.
- Lead IPO readiness initiatives, including preparation and execution of DRHP and coordination with merchant bankers, legal advisors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage investor relations, ensuring transparent, accurate, and timely financial disclosures.
- Shape capital allocation strategies aligned with expansion and profitability objectives.
Financial Strategy & Operational Excellence
- Oversee bullion financing, Gold Metal Loans (GML), hedging strategies, and working capital optimization.
- Develop robust financial models to support aggressive retail expansion while ensuring strong return on investment (ROI).
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiencies to improve margins.
- Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization and subsidiaries.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to listed entity regulations, including SEBI, LODR, and other statutory requirements.
- Enhance internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and reporting standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and macroeconomic risks through proactive risk management strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Leadership & Organizational Transformation
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance function with a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Drive the transition from a privately held structure to a disciplined, governance-led and publicly accountable organization.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to align financial strategy with business objectives.
