Employment Type: Full-Time (Executive Leadership Role)
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to own and scale the entire revenue engine for a fast-growing, AI-driven automotive inspection platform. This executive role is responsible for unifying Sales and Marketing, defining the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and transforming founder-led sales into a predictable, scalable, global revenue organization.
As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CRO will partner closely with Product, Operations, and the Board, driving sustainable growth and positioning the organization as a category leader in AI-powered automotive inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Scale annual recurring revenue from approximately $5M to $25M+, across direct and channel sales
- Transition sales operations from founder-led motion to a structured, enterprise-grade sales organization
- Build and lead high-performing, quota-carrying sales teams across multiple geographies and verticals
- Establish sales methodologies, playbooks, forecasting, and performance metrics (daily to annual)
- Lead executive-level selling and evangelize the platform with C-suite stakeholders across banking, insurance, rental, and automotive enterprises
Marketing & Growth
- Own marketing strategy aligned with revenue outcomes, including demand generation, branding, PR, and content
- Drive pipeline growth from MQL → SQL → closed revenue through campaigns, partnerships, and events
- Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and media engagements
- Partner with product marketing to position the platform as the category-defining AI inspection solution
Revenue Strategy & Operations
- Own the full revenue lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, expansion, and retention
- Define pricing, packaging, channel strategy, geographic expansion, and upsell/cross-sell motions
- Build revenue operations discipline across analytics, reporting, sales enablement, compensation, and CRM (HubSpot)
- Ensure tight alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations
- Present revenue strategy, performance, and forecasts to executive leadership and the Board
Organizational Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and scale world-class sales and marketing leadership
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration
- Drive global expansion initiatives and strategic partnerships
- Integrate customer feedback, competitive insights, and market trends into GTM and product strategy
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Sales, Revenue, or GTM roles within SaaS, automotive, or mobility technology
- Proven success scaling revenue from sub-$10M ARR to $25M+ ARR
- Deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem with strong industry relationships
- Demonstrated ability to unify Sales and Marketing into a single, high-performing revenue organization
- Experience closing complex enterprise deals ($200K–$1M+), multi-year SaaS contracts, and strategic partnerships
- Strong executive presence with experience reporting to Boards and senior leadership
Leadership Profile
- Entrepreneurial, high-energy leader comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset
- Data-driven and outcome-focused, balancing near-term results with long-term vision
- Inspirational people leader who builds scalable, accountable teams
- Passionate about technology, automotive innovation, and category creation
Why This Is a CRO Role (Not VP of Sales)
This role owns revenue end-to-end, not just sales execution. The CRO integrates Sales and Marketing, defines market positioning, drives GTM expansion, and shapes how the company is perceived globally. This is a mandate to build a scalable revenue machine and establish long-term market leadership.
Compensation
Competitive executive compensation package including:
- Base salary
