Akkodis is seeking an Oracle Fusion CPQ developer contract job with a client in Rochester NY. Must hold a Bachelors or in Information Technology or related field to be considered. Will be responsible for streamlining and automating the quoting process, ensuring the sales organization can configure products, apply pricing rules, and generate professional proposals quickly and accurately.
Rate Range: $5/hr. to $60/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Oracle Fusion CPQ developer responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain product models that guide users through selecting product options.
- Write configuration and constraint rules using Oracle’s BML (BigMachines Language).
- Ensure product selections are logically valid and efficient.
- Implement pricing rules, discount structures, margin checks, and validations.
- Customize Commerce Process steps—quote creation, approvals, workflows.
- Integrate CPQ with ERP or CRM pricing sources when needed.
- Use Doc Designer or BI Publisher to build branded proposals and quote documents.
- Automate generation of proposals, contracts, terms & conditions, and other outputs.
- Connect CPQ with other enterprise systems, such as:
- o CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, Oracle Sales Cloud)
- o ERP (Oracle, SAP)
- o Pricing tools (Zilliant, Vendavo)
- Build or maintain REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Perform unit tests, regression tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Manage migrations between environments (dev/ test /prod).
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field is required.
- Minimum Five years related experience.y
- BML scripting
- Configuration and commerce rule logic
- REST/SOAP APIs
- SQL basics
- JSON/XML
- Experience with CRM/ERP integrations
