Location - Patel Nagar, New As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the Managing Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.
- This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- CA is highly desirable.
- 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in FMCG and B2C.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- An enthusiastic team player and strong interpersonal skills.
- A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-drive environment.
- Highly representative.

- Banking Relationships:
- Building strong partnerships with banks for loans, credit facilities, and advisory support
- Negotiating better fees, interest rates, and service terms
- Credit Facility Management:
- Arranging overdrafts, revolving credit lines, or long-term facilities
- Monitoring utilization and cost of capital
- Bank Account Management:
- Opening/closing accounts
- Consolidating banking relationships for efficiency
- Ensuring proper signatories and authorization matrix
- Transaction Banking:
- Ensuring smooth payment systems (NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT, digital banking)
- Managing vendor payments, and collections efficiently
- Compliance with Regulations:
- Ensuring compliance with RBI, FEMA (in India/global context)
- Adhering to KYC, AML, and other financial regulations
Treasury Management Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitoring daily cash position
- Ensuring funds are available for operations, investments, and debt servicing
- Forecasting future liquidity needs
- Working Capital Optimization:
- Managing receivables, payables, and inventory cycles
- Reducing cash tied up in operations
- Investment of Surplus Funds:
- Placing short-term surplus cash in safe, liquid investments
- Balancing risk and return
- Debt Management:
- Deciding on debt vs. equity financing
- Negotiating loan terms and repayment schedules
- Ensuring compliance with covenants
- Foreign Exchange (FX) & Risk Hedging:
- Managing exposure to currency, interest rate, and commodity price risks
- Using hedging tools (forwards, swaps, options)
- Treasury Controls:
- Preventing fraud and misappropriation of funds
- Implementing treasury policies and approval hierarchies
