Role Objective
To lead the companys financial strategy, ensure strong financial governance, and drive profitability and operational efficiency across manufacturing, supply chain, and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a manufacturing-driven business.
- Manage working capital, cash flow, banking relationships, and funding requirements.
- Oversee plant-level cost control, inventory valuation, product costing, and margin analysis.
- Ensure strong internal controls across procurement, production, warehousing, and sales.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives in manufacturing, logistics, and operations.
- Lead statutory compliance including taxation, audits, GST, and regulatory financial requirements.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, plant expansion, and automation investments.
- Manage risk, insurance, and financial exposure related to assets, inventory, and operations.
- Partner with founders and leadership to support business growth, pricing strategy, and profitability improvement.
- Supervise finance, accounts, and commercial teams; strengthen systems, MIS, and financial processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA with 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG/pharma.
- Strong knowledge of costing, inventory control, and plant finance.
- Experience in fundraising, banking, and financial structuring is a plus.
- Deep understanding of taxation, compliance, and audit processes.
- Strong leadership, analytical ability, and business partnering skills
