Job Brief
We are looking for a strong and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our client's Finance and Accounts team. In this role, you will help keep the company financially strong and stable. You will guide financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. You will also make sure all financial work follows laws and company rules.
You will work closely with senior leaders to support business growth and smart decision-making. If you enjoy leading teams, solving financial challenges, and building strong systems, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Lead and manage the full Finance and Accounts function.
Create long-term financial plans to support business growth.
Work closely with leadership on business, investment, and cost decisions.
Improve finance processes through automation and digital tools.
Accounting & Financial Control
Oversee daily accounting work, books, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Create and improve financial policies and internal controls.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prepare financial reports to support management decisions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage vendor payments and invoice processing.
Ensure payments follow company rules and agreements.
Maintain good relationships with vendors and partners.
Monitor collections and support the sales team with payment tracking.
Supervise bill discounting and account reconciliations.
Budgeting, MIS & Reporting
Prepare yearly budgets and review them quarterly.
Share MIS reports and explain financial performance.
Prepare profit and loss reports, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and cost analysis.
Monitor debtor and creditor aging and manage credit limits.
Manage working capital and ensure smooth cash flow.
Support stock audits and risk management.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other legal rules.
Work with auditors, consultants, and authorities during audits and reviews.
Stay updated on financial and tax laws.
Banking & Investor Relations
Manage banking activities, loans, and credit facilities.
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners.
Support funding activities and financial negotiations.
Lead financial due diligence and investor discussions when required.
Work on cost-saving initiatives related to financial expenses.
Dealer & Partner Account Management
Manage dealer accounts, credit notes, and scheme payments.
Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time.
Team Leadership
Build and guide a strong finance team.
Encourage teamwork, accountability, and ethical work culture.
Work with different departments to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- MBA or M.Com in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 15 to 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounts leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, and Income Tax.
- Experience in financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Good understanding of budgeting, cash flow management, and MIS reporting.
- Experience using accounting software like Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
