With our expanding workforce and growing distribution network, we are looking for a responsible and versatile professional to support the Managing Director in overseeing day-to-day business operations.
Role Overview
The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director will act as a general management support and sales enabler, helping execute the MD’s priorities across sales, customer coordination, internal follow-ups, and business planning.
This role is meant to reduce the owner’s workload, ensure execution happens without constant supervision, and actively contribute to business growth and operational discipline.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & General Management Support
- Act as the primary point of coordination for tasks and initiatives assigned by the Managing Director.
- Track priorities, action items, and decisions, ensuring timely execution across teams.
- Prepare summaries, follow-up notes, and progress updates for MD review.
- Coordinate internal communication so that instructions and decisions are clearly executed.
Sales & Business Coordination
- Support and coordinate sales activities including customer follow-ups, order tracking, and dispatch coordination.
- Work closely with field sales teams, distributors, buyers, and customers to ensure smooth sales execution.
- Assist in developing and tracking sales plans, targets, and performance metrics.
- Travel for sales meetings, customer visits, and business development activities as required.
Customer & Vendor Coordination
- Act as a communication bridge between customers, vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely flow of information related to orders, deliveries, and commitments.
- Support negotiation discussions by preparing data, comparisons, and summaries for MD review.
Business Tracking & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports related to sales progress, orders, dispatch status, and customer feedback.
- Highlight risks, delays, and improvement areas to the Managing Director proactively.
- Assist in basic planning and execution of growth initiatives, new markets, or process improvements.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related field (BBA / B.Com required).
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred (Sales, Marketing, or Operations).
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in sales, sales coordination, or business operations.
- Mandatory experience in sales (field sales, channel sales, or key account coordination).
- Experience working closely with business owners or senior leadership is strongly preferred.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and coordination skills in Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities independently.
- Commercial understanding of order flows, pricing, margins, and customer expectations.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Mindset of a business partner, not a clerical assistant.
