As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced CFO to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
Role Overview
The CFO will be responsible for leading the accounting function, managing financial reporting, overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong financial acumen, experience in the education sector (preferred), and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial operations, budgeting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial analysis, forecasts, and budget support.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency in financial operations.
- Support new initiatives such as expansion projects, partnerships, or acquisitions with financial due diligence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance - CA
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience in the education sector or service-based industries is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month
