The Business Applications Support Analyst provides technical ownership and day-to-day administration for key operational applications across CMH’s portfolio companies, including FrontSteps, FrontSteps Pay, Caliber, and EdenRed. The initial focus will be on HOAMCO to ensure successful delivery of ongoing projects, with growth into AMG and other portfolio management companies as systems and processes mature.
This role serves as the bridge between business operations and IT—ensuring that platforms are properly configured, maintained, and supported to meet operational needs while driving adoption and efficiency.
The position partners closely with CMH IT, HOAMCO operations, and vendor partners to ensure system performance, positive user experience, and successful rollout of new functionality. As current initiatives stabilize, the role will expand to include broader portfolio application support and technical analysis across all community management platforms.
Responsibilities
Application Ownership & Support
- Serve as the primary technical administrator for key HOAMCO applications, including FrontSteps, Calibur, and EdenRed.
- Provide Tier 2–3 support for application-related issues escalated beyond vendor or help desk resolution.
- Monitor system performance, permissions, and integrations to ensure stability and compliance with CMH IT standards.
- Partner with the CMH Infrastructure and Security teams to maintain appropriate access controls and data governance.
Project & Rollout Support
- Act as technical lead for the rollout and adoption of the FrontSteps Pay and Portal implementations.
- Collaborate with assigned Project Manager to define technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support testing, deployment, and user training coordination for application enhancements or new platform introductions.
- Coordinate with vendors and business stakeholders to manage system updates and enhancements.
Process Improvement & Alignment
- Identify opportunities for improved system use, workflow automation, and data accuracy.
- Partner with HOAMCO business leads to ensuring applications align with operational goals and processes.
- Assist in documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer for supported systems.
- Provide technical insight and recommendations on future application initiatives, including upcoming projects such as the DocuServe-to-HomeWiseDocs migration and the HOAMCO dashboard platform review.
Collaboration & Governance
- Serve as the technical liaison between HOAMCO operations and the CMH IT Applications team.
- Participate in regular application governance and project status meetings.
- Support alignment with CMH IT standards, documentation practices, and security policies.
Requirements
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in application administration, business systems support, or IT operations.
- Hands-on experience with FrontSteps, Caliber, or similar property management systems.
- Strong understanding of data workflows, integrations, and user permissions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience leading technical implementations or supporting large-scale system rollouts.
- Familiarity with SaaS application management, APIs, or integration platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint administration.
Physical Requirements

- Driving: Occasional local travel may be required between company sites or to vendor locations. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be necessary.
