We have a FANTASTIC opportunity in our Oldcastle, ON location as the Branch Manager. Reporting to the V.P., you are responsible for guaranteeing the overall success & growth of a multi-channel distribution center focusing on MRO supplies and machinery to ensure it is a productive, safe, and positive place to work. This role is a hands on Management role responsible for a team of 2 staff. The best candidate for this role will be ready to jump in and lead by example.
This position is responsible for the overall management, organization, and execution of complete day-to-day operations for the branch and budget. This position is also responsible for maximizing sales & productivity while working safely and ethically.
The Branch Manager will implement and develop strategies and objectives, and liaise with several department heads to ensure that the branch is functioning optimally, while providing excellent customer service to both customers and clients.
You have experience growing business and leading sales and operations teams. Ensuring the safety of our employees and operational practices is vital. You have exceptional problem solving, organizational, and effective time and people management skills. Previous management experience and experience working in a large distribution-based model is an asset. Excellent written and oral communication, computer, and leadership skills are required.
In depth or general knowledge of metalworking tooling and machinery for manual and CNC machining is an asset.
