Overview
The Business Systems Analyst defines system scope and objectives based on user needs and CPQ/ERP best practices. This role bridges business requirements and technology solutions to optimize enterprise workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and translate them into functional CPQ/ERP requirements
- Design and customize CPQ/ERP workflows for seamless integration across client/server applications
- Develop functional specifications and test plans; support full development life cycle
- Educate stakeholders on CPQ/ERP-enabled processes, reporting, and metrics
- Coordinate and implement system changes; ensure clear communication across teams
- Manage multiple components of projects, including complex configurations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of related experience in CPQ/ERP systems
- Knowledge of SAP ERP variant configuration (preferred)
- Leverage engineering background to understand complex product structures, BOMs, dependencies, and rules
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to model configurable products, options, constraints, and compatibility rules within CPQ systems
- Support integration of CPQ with ERP, CRM, PLM, and pricing systems
- Validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment between engineering logic and commercial requirements
- Experience with Revalize FPX (preferred)
- Familiarity with relational databases and client-server concepts
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical teams and end users
- Proactive, self‑driven, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
