THE MANDATE: You are the "Commercial General" for the network. Your goal is to maximize the monetization of every second of airtime and every pixel on the network's digital assets. You will lead the transition from a TV-first revenue model to an Integrated Media Solution model, ensuring that the channel’s influence translates into sustainable, high-margin revenue across TV, OTT, and Digital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
360° Revenue Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for TV advertising, digital platforms, branded content, and IP monetization.
Integrated Offerings: Break down silos between TV and Digital sales to create unified "News + Digital + Social" packages for national advertisers.
Strategic Partnerships: Leverage your deep roots in the agency ecosystem (GroupM, Publicis, IPG, etc.) to secure long-term annual commitments and premium sponsorships.
New Revenue Vertical Creation: Scale emerging streams such as regional expansion, live events/summits, and tech-led ad innovations (CTV/Programmatic).
P&L & Yield Management: Drive topline growth while meticulously managing yields, margins, and market share against fierce competitors.
Leadership & Governance: Lead a massive team across national and regional offices, ensuring high performance, transparent reporting, and alignment with the Board’s vision.
Requirements
IDEAL PROFILE:
The Newsroom Veteran: Significant experience leading revenue for a national news brand (English or Hindi).
The Integrated Leader: You must understand the "Math" of TV ratings (BARC) and the "Metrics" of Digital (CPM, CTR, Programmatic).
Relationship Heavyweight: A direct "batting line" to CMOs of India's top 100 advertisers and the CEOs of major media buying agencies.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to use audience insights to justify premium pricing and demonstrate ROI to cynical advertisers.
