YOUR IMPACT
You will be working with the Sales Operations leadership team to provide insight on key crediting rules related to sales compensation. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess a broad understanding of business goals and objectives. Proven working experience as a business analyst or data analyst is required.
What The Role Offers
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, Global Services, Finance as well as Revenue Recognition to enhance value and consistency across all geographic regions
- Analyzing and review sales orders to ensure they should be credited for compensation
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to develop standard rule sets for compensation crediting
- Developing enablement documents for sales teams to answer compensation frequently asked questions
- Supporting other senior analysts on the team by developing automated and streamlined solutions
- Communicating with Sales and senior executives to review specific transactions and/or compensation concerns.
- Assisting in the management of YTD compensation metircs
- Compiling regular and ad hoc reports of key operational metrics
- Compiling data from variant sources and systems to create effective reports to help management optimize business resources
- Communicating cross functionally with different business lines to ensure departmental goals and objectives are clearly disseminated, understood, managed, and tracked
- Assisting in the compilation and delivery of information that Operational leaders will use to run the business
What You Need To Succeed
- 3-5 years of Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, Purchasing and/or compensation background
- Experience working with senior management to CEO level and cultivating positive working relationships with Sales staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Cross functional influencing skills
- Experience in delivering high quality guidance against challenging timelines
- Experience in working with virtual teams across the world
- Strong business and financial acumen, and ability to draft commercial language in contracts
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. Strong organizational skills

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
