About the Role:
We are seeking a driven CFO/Financial Director to join our partner’s leadership team. This role will oversee finance and data operations, playing a key part in managing financial control, producing board-level reports, and ensuring smooth integration of finance, marketing, business development, and system data. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, supporting FCA compliance, and driving growth through operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping, financial control, FCA compliance, and the monthly production of board-level reports.
- Consolidate and optimise existing processes across finance and HubSpot-driven commercial data, working closely with the in-house tech team to support automation and data wrangling.
- Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely financial and business performance reports for the board and senior leadership.
- Partner with marketing, business development, and operations teams to align financial data with broader business goals.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure robust financial health and sustainability.
Ideal Background & Experience:
- Qualified accountant with 3–6 years of experience; consulting experience (e.g., top consulting firm or junior role at a large GP or start-up exposure).
- Strong understanding of fund accounting and private equity, with proven ability to produce high-quality board-level reporting.
- Experience in financial control, reporting, and FCA compliance.
Tech & Process Mindset:
- Skilled at consolidating financial and commercial data into actionable insights.
- Tech-savvy, ideally with experience using HubSpot and automation tools.

- Smart, proactive, detail-driven, and hands-on; thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders.
