We're working with a mid-sized company in Orange County who is hiring a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will provide financial leadership for growth initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a key liaison between the company and corporate leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash management.
- Ensure SOX compliance and alignment with internal control framework and reporting standards.
- Develop financial strategies that support operational goals, capital investments, and profitability.
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive business growth, evaluate new investments, and provide data-driven insights.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to executive management and leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven experience in SOX compliant environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and consolidation processes for multi-entity organizations.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, financial planning, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on financial management.
