Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, improve processes, and support the continued expansion of the business.
Role Description
The Business Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the company’s operational activities. You will oversee project coordination, manufacturing workflows, installation scheduling, and internal processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards as well as overseeing HR, H&S, welfare.
This role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple departments including production, logistics, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across manufacturing, installations, and administration
- Manage project workflows from order confirmation through to completion
- Coordinate between sales, production, and installation teams
- Improve operational processes and efficiency across the business
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Develop and implement operational systems and reporting structures
- Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Support senior leadership with strategic planning and business growth
- Lead and develop operational staff and department managers
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, business management, or project management
- Experience in construction, joinery, manufacturing, or the window & door industry preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Commercial awareness and budgeting experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management, ERP, AI systems
Desirable Experience
- Experience in timber windows and or joinery manufacturing
- Knowledge of heritage or conservation projects
- Experience managing factory production, installation teams and site coordination
- Process improvement or operational scaling experience
