Revenue Operations System Specialist – Maternity Leave Coverage
Description:
We are seeking a Revenue Operations Systems Specialist to provide expert support and oversight of our SDS Traffic system during a maternity leave coverage period. This role is ideal for a systems-oriented, analytical individual who thrives on learning complex platforms and building more efficient ways of working.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and ongoing optimization of the system that powers our commercial inventory, product suite, and revenue operations across radio and digital platforms.
The successful candidate will act as the internal expert and consultant for SDS, supporting teams across Traffic, Sales Enablement, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
While this role does not perform all operational tasks within the system, the specialist will be primarily responsible for learning the ins and outs of SDS and applying that knowledge to improve how we use the system. As they build expertise, they will identify opportunities to streamline workflows, implement efficiencies, and support the continued modernization of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
System Ownership & Expertise
- Serve as the primary internal expert for the SDS Traffic system
- Learn and develop a deep understanding of system functionality, workflows, and dependencies
- Monitor system activity including orders, advertiser records, and inventory availability
- Maintain oversight of the global advertiser list to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Support system configuration related to product setup, avails, and inventory management
Operational Support
- Provide guidance and consultation to system users across departments
- Assist with troubleshooting issues related to orders, inventory, logs, and billing workflows
- Support teams in understanding best practices for using SDS within their workflows
- Translate business needs into effective system usage and modernized solutions
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Participate in weekly Traffic and Sales Enablement meetings
- Work closely with the Director of Revenue Operations on system improvements and execution of operational initiatives
- Act as a liaison between operational teams and the SDS development team
Training & Documentation
- Conduct monthly SDS training sessions for internal teams
- Develop and update training materials and process documentation
- Support onboarding of new SDS users
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency
- Leverage tools such as Excel, Zapier, AI and system capabilities to build scalable solutions
- Recommend system enhancements and development requests to SDS
- Help ensure processes remain aligned with business changes and new product offerings
Qualifications
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand how tools support business processes
- Experience working with or quickly learning complex software systems
- Advanced Microsoft suite experience, particularly Excel Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to support and train users across multiple departments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with broadcast traffic systems (SDS)
- Familiarity with advertising invoicing, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting
- Experience with automation, process improvement, or building efficiencies within cross-department operational systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or experience using data to drive improvements
- Experience with Zapier, AI and/or other automation tools considered an asset.

The role works closely with the Traffic Department, Sales Enablement Team, Finance, and Revenue Operations leadership to ensure our systems remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with operational needs.
