Deal Desk / Commercial Pricing Analyst (12-Month FTC)

A globally recognised, Fortune 500 SaaS organisation (you'll likely have heard of them) is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join their high-performing ANZ team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Legal, supporting complex deal structures within a fast-paced, enterprise technology environment.
The Opportunity
You'll be part of a team of 7 and will play a key role in supporting the deal lifecycle - reviewing, structuring, and optimising commercial agreements to drive business outcomes while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
This role suits someone with experience in Sales Operations, Pricing, or Deal Desk functions who is looking to deepen their expertise in a collaborative, high-growth SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to structure deals and support quote and contract reviews using Salesforce CPQ or similar tools
- Analyse and optimise deal structures to balance profitability and customer value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive deals to close
- Draft and update contracts using internal templates and clause libraries
- Ensure adherence to pricing policies, approval frameworks, and service level expectations
- Manage deal queues, flag risks, and escalate where required
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to ongoing optimisation initiatives
- Support ad-hoc analysis and projects aligned to broader Deal Desk strategy
About You
- 2-5 years’ experience in Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Operations, or similar roles (ideally within SaaS/software)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate clearly and influence outcomes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of commercial concepts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Exposure to revenue recognition principles is advantageous
- Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable
