Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, playing a critical role in shaping the company’s financial future. This leader will drive financial strategy, ensure operational efficiency, and safeguard the organization’s financial health while enabling scalable growth. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term financial and growth strategies
- Partner closely with executive leadership to support high-level decision-making
- Deliver forward-looking insights, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to guide business initiatives
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes
Cash Flow, Capital & Risk Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation strategies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks
- Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and treasury functions
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
Compliance, Audit & Governance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead internal and external audit processes
- Maintain a culture of strong governance, transparency, and ethical financial practices
Business Partnership & Operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to evaluate performance and profitability
- Support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and cost-benefit analyses
- Provide financial guidance to support business growth and expansion
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and risk management
- Experience in professional services or similar environments is a plus
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
