Role overview:
Le Collectionist is seeking its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team in shaping the company’s long-term strategy.
As a member of the Executive Committee, the CFO will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company’s financial and strategic roadmap. Beyond financial oversight, this role is central to value creation, capital allocation, governance, and strategic decision-making.
The CFO will oversee the company’s global financial organization, but also Legal, Office Management and HR departments. Working closely with the Board and shareholders, the CFO will ensure the company operates with strong financial discipline, transparent governance, and the ability to scale sustainably.
This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of Le Collectionist’s governance and long-term development.
Key responsabilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with the long-term (3–5 year) vision.
- Act as a strategic and key partner to the CEO and Executive Committee in shaping the company’s direction.
- Support the strategic planning processes and develop scenario modelling to guide leadership decisions.
- Evaluate and manage potential investment, fundraising, and M&A opportunities.
- Participate actively in Board discussions and governance processes.
Financial performance & Control (15 people)
- Own and oversee the company’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes across all markets.
- Develop and maintain a robust KPI framework and performance monitoring system.
- Drive margin optimization and cost structure efficiency across the organization.
- Ensure robust financial reporting and IFRS consolidation across group entities.
- Define and execute treasury strategy and working capital management.
Financing & Investor Relations
- Design and execute the company’s equity and debt financing strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, shareholders, and financial partners.
- Prepare and present board-level financial reporting and performance updates.
- Support potential fundraising processes, strategic partnerships, or M&A opportunities.
Oversee Legal team (2 people)
- Provide executive oversight of the Legal & Guest Relations function, ensuring strong governance and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure appropriate management of contracts, regulatory obligations, and legal risks.
- Oversee the company’s risk management approach and litigation strategy when required.
- Ensure robust corporate governance and corporate documentation practices.
Oversee Human Resources and Office Management teams (13 people)
- Provide executive oversight of the HR and OM function, working closely with the two teams across 5 countries.
- Ensure alignment between the people strategy and the company’s business objectives.
- Support the development of key HR pillars including:
- Organization and culture ;
- Performance and development management ;
- Talent Acquisition ;
- HR administration and compliance.
- Promote a performance-driven culture across the organization.
- Ensure the company has the right talent and organizational structure to support its growth.
Qualifications
Experience & expertise
- 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within high-growth, international environments.
- Experience overseeing or closely partnering with HR and/or Legal functions is a strong plus, especially in international and scaling environments.
- Experience in hospitality, luxury, travel, or marketplace businesses is considered a strong plus.
- Proven experience overseeing financial strategy, FP&A, and financial governance.
- Strong track record in corporate finance, fundraising, or capital structuring.
- Experience interacting with boards, investors, and executive leadership teams.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and multi-entity consolidation.
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
