Precision Recruiting Solutions Group® (PRSG®) has been retained by a privately held manufacturing company located East of Pittsburgh to identify a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a critical leadership hire and a unique opportunity to join a growing organization at an inflection point.
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business while partnering closely with operations to drive performance, scalability, and long-term growth.
This role requires a hands-on finance leader who can operate both strategically and tactically. Someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also contributing at a high level to business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial functions including accounting, financial planning & analysis, reporting, and cash flow management
- Develop and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Prepare and present financial insights to executive leadership
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational and financial performance
- Partner with operations to improve cost structure, profitability, and efficiency
- Oversee working capital management including receivables, payables, and inventory
- Evaluate and optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and data integrity
- Support audit processes and ensure strong internal controls
- Build scalable processes and infrastructure to support continued growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
- Experience building or improving financial processes, reporting, and systems
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to leadership
- Experience working with ERP systems; exposure to system implementations or upgrades is a plus
