Our client a tech start up is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Fractional Chief Financial Officer to support our business on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week). This role is ideal for a highly qualified finance professional looking to contribute strategic insight and financial leadership in a flexible capacity.
Key Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Proven experience as a CFO (or equivalent senior finance leader) within medium to large private sector businesses
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of business strategy and value creation
- Demonstrated success in driving financial performance and supporting growth
- Extensive network of senior contacts across relevant disciplines, with a proactive approach to leveraging these relationships
- Advanced expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and management reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Develop robust financial models to support decision-making and growth initiatives
- Enhance reporting frameworks and deliver clear, actionable insights
- Support fundraising, investor relations, and potential M&A activity (if relevant)
- Identify risks and opportunities, helping shape overall business strategy
