Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
I’m currently partnering with a consumer business seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team.
This is a high-impact, build-and-scale opportunity with a profitable, established platform entering its next phase of accelerated growth through both organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
This CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, helping drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
You will step into a stable, well-performing business with a strong foundation and have the opportunity to build out the finance function, enhance systems, and play a critical role in scaling the organization toward a future exit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial functions including FP&A, accounting, reporting, and treasury
- Partner with executive leadership on strategy, growth initiatives, and performance optimization
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development across the organization
- Improve systems, reporting, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Support M&A activity including diligence, integration, and execution
- Oversee back-office functions (including IT) and build a high-performing team
- Manage lender, banking, and external partner relationships
- Implement scalable processes to support continued growth
Ideal Background
- Prior experience as a CFO or VP Finance within a PE-backed or high-growth environment
- Strong background in consumer products, retail, distribution, or manufacturing
- Proven ability to operate as a hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” leader
- Experience scaling businesses and preparing for a liquidity event
- Exposure to M&A and integration strongly preferred
- Systems-oriented with experience improving processes and leveraging data

Compensation
- Base Salary: $275,000 – $300,000
- Target Bonus: ~30%

California Applicant & Pay Transparency Notice
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is $275,000 – $300,000 base salary, plus bonus and equity eligibility. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
