Quality Tax Plus Services is hiring a Business Operations Lead to help bring structure, follow-through, and stronger service execution across the business.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who can do more than keep tasks moving. We are looking for a high-ownership operator who can help improve client communication, strengthen workflow discipline, support recurring-revenue service lines like bookkeeping and payroll, and help clean up the systems and processes that currently depend too much on leadership. This is a part-time role to start, with a path to expanded hours or full-time for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Improve client follow-up, status visibility, and open-loop control
- Help organize and stabilize service workflows across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and related administrative operations
- Support process improvement, checklists, SOPs, and cleaner handoffs across the business
- Keep communication from slipping across calls, texts, email, and internal follow-up
- Help leadership reduce bottlenecks by taking more day-to-day operational ownership
- Support recurring revenue initiatives by improving bookkeeping and payroll onboarding and service coordination
- Assist with operational preparation and execution support for ACA / health insurance workflows as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in operations, service delivery, office management, workflow coordination, or a similar role
Required Skills
- Strong follow-through and ability to take ownership without constant direction
- Comfort working in a fast-moving small business environment where systems are improving as we go
- Ability to organize messy processes, keep multiple priorities moving, and communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and calmness under pressure
Preferred Skills
- Experience with process improvement, client operations, bookkeeping/payroll coordination, or service-based business workflows is a major plus
- Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus, but not required
Pay range and compensation package
Part-time to start, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. $35–$40/hour, based on experience and ownership level. Path to expanded responsibility and hours for the right person.
