The Role
Reporting to the President/CEO, the CFO is a key decision-maker responsible for the overall financial health, sustainability, forecasting, and strategic financial direction. This includes oversight of accounting, finance, investments, and risk management.
The CFO ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, and leads audit and regulatory relationships. This role works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, providing clear, practical insight on financial results, forecasts, and risk.
The CFO plays a critical leadership role in Asset Liability Management (ALM), Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) strategy, capital planning, and financial risk management. This includes aligning financial strategy with growth objectives, supporting commercial and construction lending, and providing discipline around portfolio performance and pricing, including secondary market considerations.
What You Will Be Responsible For

- Leading enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Developing financial models to support decision-making, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives
- Overseeing profitability across products, services, and customer segments, including NIM, ROA, and non-interest income
- Supporting balance sheet optimization, capital planning, and overall financial structure
- Leading ALM and ALCO, including interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital strategy
- Overseeing CECL methodology, modeling, implementation, and ongoing review
- Managing liquidity, investment portfolio strategy, and funding sources
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards, with strong internal controls and audit readiness
- Partnering with Risk and Compliance to support sound financial risk management
- Presenting financial results, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Board and Executive Team in a clear and practical manner
- Leading and developing finance and accounting teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
What You Bring to the Table
You are an experienced financial leader who understands how to manage a balance sheet, control risk, and support steady, sustainable growth.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a financial institution
- Strong background in ALM, liquidity, investments, CECL, and financial forecasting
- Understanding and knowledge of commercial and construction lending portfolios, including performance and pricing considerations, and secondary markets
- Knowledge of GAAP and regulations, including audit and exam processes
- Experience working with executive teams and presenting to a Board
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- A practical, collaborative leadership style that builds trust, develops people, and aligns with organizational culture.

- Executive Role: Direct partnership with the CEO and involvement in key organizational decisions
- Organizational Impact: Responsibility for financial performance, structure, and long-term sustainability
- Visibility: Regular interaction with the Board, auditors, and regulators
- Team Leadership: Oversight and development of finance and accounting teams
- Customer Impact: A role that supports the financial strength behind every customer experience
- Work Structure: On-site role with a hybrid office schedule
This role offers the opportunity to do meaningful executive work in an organization that values accountability, collaboration, and service. Financial leadership here is closely tied to customer experience, organizational strength, and long-term community impact.
This is a place where the CFO is expected to be engaged, approachable, and aligned with the team, someone who fits the culture as much as they bring technical expertise. For the right leader, this role provides the opportunity to influence strategy, develop people, strengthen performance, and support a mission that matters.
If you are a financial leader who values both performance and culture, this role offers a clear next step.
