About The Role
The Business Operations Executive will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day school operations by driving coordination, structure, and execution across academic and administrative functions.
This is a
core operations role focused on execution, process efficiency, and on-ground coordination, and not an Executive Assistant position. The role requires strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and the capability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
School Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day school operations, including scheduling, academic coordination, and administrative activities.
- Ensure smooth execution of ongoing academic processes by proactively identifying and resolving operational gaps.
- Work closely with Principals and academic teams to support execution and operational requirements.
Timetabling & Academic Planning
- Manage timetables to ensure efficient scheduling of classes and academic activities.
- Handle substitution planning to address faculty availability and ensure continuity in learning delivery.
- Coordinate with academic teams to maintain structured and conflict-free schedules.
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute school events, workshops, and engagement activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Manage timelines, logistics, and communication to ensure high-quality event delivery.
Business Operations & Process Efficiency
- Act as a BizOps support function by bringing structure, tracking, and efficiency to school operations.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain trackers, workflows, and documentation for key operational processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including academic, operations, and leadership.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across stakeholders to drive timely execution.
- Support Principals in managing operational priorities and execution.
Selection Criteria
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, program management, or coordination roles.
- Experience in managing schedules, events, or academic operations is preferred.
- Prior exposure to EdTech, education, or fast-paced organisations is an advantage.
Must Have
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in scheduling, planning, or operations management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High ownership and problem-solving mindset.
Good to Have
- Experience in school operations or academic coordination.
- Familiarity with timetabling tools or scheduling systems.
- Exposure to event planning and execution.
- Understanding of operational workflows in EdTech or education.
