About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, execution-focused Business Operations leader to be the operational backbone of Meolaa. This role sits at the center of the business — connecting strategy to execution, identifying inefficiencies before they become problems, and ensuring every function runs with rigour and pace. What You'll Own
Business Operations & Process
- Own end-to-end operational efficiency across the business — from order to delivery to resolution
- Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs across functions as the company scales
- Identify operational bottlenecks proactively and drive fixes before they impact the business
- Build scalable systems and processes that don't break as the company grows from one brand to many
Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as the connective tissue between brand, supply chain, growth, finance, and tech teams
- Drive resolution on cross-functional blockers and dependencies
- Own the operating cadence of the business — weekly reviews, monthly reviews, and OKR tracking
- Ensure alignment between functional goals and overall business priorities
Vendor & Partner Management
- Own key operational vendor relationships — 3PL, logistics, technology partners, and service providers
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs that protect business interests while enabling speed
- Continuously evaluate vendor performance and drive accountability
Data & Decision Support
- Build and own operational dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into business health
- Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across functions
- Support Founders with structured analysis for key operational and strategic decisions
Project & Program Management
- Lead high-priority cross-functional projects from scoping to execution
- Own new initiative rollouts — from new brand launches to new market entries to new systems implementation
- Build project plans, track milestones, and ensure delivery without excuses
Team & Process Building
- Build and lead the Business Operations team as it scales
- Instil a culture of ownership, speed, and process discipline across the organisation
- Be a force multiplier for the Founders — someone they can hand ambiguous problems to and trust to deliver structure and outcomes
Who You Are
- 6–10 years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, or a Founder's Office role
- Has built or scaled operations in a high-growth startup or D2C environment
- Strong first-principles thinker who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution
- Exceptional project management skills — you run multiple workstreams without dropping balls
- Comfortable with ambiguity — you create structure where none exists
- Strong analytical skills — you make decisions based on data, not assumptions
- High ownership, low ego, gets-things-done attitude
- MBA from a Tier 1 institution is a plus, but not mandatory — we care more about how you think and execute
