About the Role
ARA Manufacture is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support the business through a critical operational and systems transformation phase. This contract role will play a key leadership position in strengthening financial reporting, improving operational visibility, and leading the implementation and integration of a new ERP system across the business. A key focus of the role will be ensuring seamless integration of financial systems and processes with other ARA business units, enabling greater alignment, scalability and group-wide efficiency.
This is an initial contract opportunity with the potential for extension, depending on business requirements and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP System Integration & Process Improvement
- Lead finance and operational involvement in the implementation and integration of a new ERP system
- Improve financial systems, controls, reporting structures and data integrity
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency
- Oversee month end reporting for the division; P&L, Work in Progress, Intercompany transactions, Inventory, KPI’s, balance sheet and cash flow and ensuring accuracy and reliability of this information
- Support decision-making with clear commercial, operational and financial insights
- Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Mentor and support the Operations Manager and broader leadership team in financial and operational disciplines
- Build stronger financial awareness across the operational verticals within the business
- Help establish accountability frameworks and performance measurement processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit and regulatory requirement
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors as required
Skills & Experience
- Proven CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation or integration projects
- Strong management reporting and business partnering capability
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
- Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring skills
- CA / CPA qualified
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
