SystemsAccountants is partnering with an early-stage startup in the installation and maintenance space. They operate in a niche industry and have identified a high-value, underserved area with the potential to reshape how services are delivered and scaled across the sector. They’re now building the financial foundation to support rapid growth and capital investment.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and help architect the financial engine of a business poised to capture a major industry gap. You’ll partner directly with the CEO as a core member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping financial strategy, building infrastructure, and driving capital formation.
We’re looking for someone who can operate as both a builder and an operator—equally comfortable modeling complex financial scenarios, speaking with investors, and rolling up their sleeves to implement systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO to define and execute company-wide financial strategy
- Build financial models to support growth, pricing, and expansion decisions
- Lead fundraising efforts, including preparation of investor materials, data rooms, and financial projections
- Develop relationships with VCs, private investors, and strategic partners
- Design and implement end-to-end financial processes from scratch
- Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial planning
- Hire, mentor, and lead an accounting team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader in an early-stage or high-growth environment
- Track record of successfully raising capital
- NetSuite experience preferred; broader finance systems implementation and transformation experience required
- Previous experience in field services, installation, construction, or maintenance-related industries (or similarly operationally complex businesses)
