We are looking for someone who can bring structure, coordination, and operational clarity to fast-moving projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Operations Associate based in Chennai.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth execution of client and internal projects by coordinating tasks, tracking deliverables, following up with stakeholders, and maintaining operational clarity across teams.
You will work closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to ensure projects move efficiently from planning to execution without delays or communication gaps.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, execution, coordination, and solving operational problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage ongoing client projects
- Track tasks, timelines, approvals, and deliverables
- Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Maintain project trackers and operational dashboards
- Assist in client communication and project updates
- Ensure deadlines and execution quality are maintained
- Help streamline workflows and operational processes
- Support invoicing, payment follow-ups, and basic financial tracking
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve operational issues
- Work directly with the founder on execution priorities
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up ability
- Ability to manage multiple moving tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, Notion, or project management tools
- Prior experience in operations, project coordination, account management, or client servicing is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or related fields preferred
