Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Machine Learning to join our semiconductor business and play a critical role in advancing our data-driven sales capabilities. This position is an individual contributor role with equal focus on Sales Operations (60%) and Machine Learning initiatives (40%). This position joins a high performing and experienced Sales Operations team. You will operate in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment, partnering closely with sales, finance, product, marketing, and engineering teams. Success in this role requires both strong analytical expertise and the ability to influence and collaborate across a global, matrixed organization.
Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics (40%)
Identify opportunities to apply machine learning and advanced analytics to sales and business challenges
Develop and deploy models such as demand forecasting, predictive revenue crawl charts and scenario testing
Partner with IT to build scalable data and ML solutions
Translate complex analytical outputs into actionable business insights
Drive adoption of ML-driven tools through close collaboration with sales and business stakeholders
Help foster a data-driven culture across the organization
Sales Operations (60%)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve CRM processes, data quality, and adoption
Partner with Sales Operations team to drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to improve visibility and predictability
Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance sales efficiency
Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to support decision-making
May support pricing strategy, deal structuring, revenue analysis and sales operations initiatives
Required Experience
5–7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or related roles, preferably within semiconductor, hardware, or enterprise technology companies
Hands-on experience applying machine learning, predictive analytics, or advanced statistical modeling in a business context
Experience deploying or operationalizing ML models into Business Intelligence Tools (such as Incorta)
Strong experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue analytics, ideally in long and complex sales cycles
Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets, including integrating data from CRM, ERP, and external sources (e.g., distributor or market data)
Experience with CRM and sales systems, particularly Salesforce, and familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle
Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into business recommendations and influence senior stakeholders
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams in a global environment and within a highly collaborative Sales Operations team
Comfortable Influencing senior stakeholders across global sales and operations
Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, including time series analysis, regression models, and scenario planning
Preferred Experience
Experience working with semiconductor distribution channels
Experience as a “player-coach” in transformation roles
Familiarity with demand planning or S&OP processes
Experience supporting global sales organizations.
The starting annual base pay for this role ranges between USD $140,000.00 and $180,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent on various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions. This range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
This position is open to candidates based in San Jose, CA with a hybrid work requirement (on-site presence required). The role is also eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
