Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall corporate development strategy.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive financial, investment, financing, and tax management plans.
- Provide robust financial analysis and proactive risk alerts to support the subsidiary’s major operational and business decisions.
2. Financial & Tax Management
- Ensure full compliance with US financial and tax regulations for the subsidiary.
- Accounting: Lead the planning and implementation of the accounting framework, ensuring all financial statements and disclosures are timely, accurate, and compliant.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Develop corporate budgets, continuously monitor execution, analyze budget variances, and provide strategic recommendations for adjustments and process optimization.
- Treasury Management: Oversee corporate treasury functions to ensure the efficient and secure utilization of funds. Establish and enforce effective internal control mechanisms to proactively mitigate financial risks.
- Taxation: Manage and coordinate all tax-related matters, leading proactive tax planning and strategy.
- Process & Systems: Optimize finance-related systems and internal control workflows, overseeing continuous operational compliance.
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, and mentor the finance team.
- Optimize the organizational structure and clarify roles and responsibilities to cultivate a lean, highly efficient, and high-performing department.
4. Group HQ Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison to the Group Finance Center (FNC), accurately reporting the subsidiary’s financial status and submitting required corporate financial reports.
- Coordinate effectively to drive the successful execution of group investment targets and strategic initiatives.
- Provide timely alerts and strategic advice to HQ regarding operational anomalies and potential market risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, coordination, and fast-learning abilities. Highly principled, responsible, and self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CPA or ACCA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Extensive and progressive executive-level experience in corporate finance and tax management (12+ years preferred).
- Must have at least 3 years of hands-on working experience in the United States.
- Prior experience acting as an overseas CFO or senior finance leader within a Fortune 500 multinational corporation is highly preferred.
- Solid financial management background in the Manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong familiarity with SAP systems. Deep understanding of US corporate financial management models, GAAP, and the local business environment.
- Language: Fluent in English as a primary working language. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred to effectively coordinate and communicate with the Group HQ.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
- Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
- Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
