Our client is a ASX-listed technology enterprise specialising in online digital marketing with its innovative platform. With a strong market presence and an innovative platform, the business is entering its year end with critical financial year end reporting deliverables.
As a result of an unexpected personnel change, the Board and Executive are seeking a high-calibre interim CFO to step into the business immediately.
The Role
Based in Melbourne, this is a hands-on executive consulting role focused on driving stability, leading corporate compliance, and navigating key market milestones ahead of the upcoming June 30 year end financial reporting cycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
- ASX Year End Reporting & Audit : Taking full ownership of the end-of-year financial audit, ensuring compliance with ASX listing rules, statutory reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- Investor Relations: Actively managing communication with institutional investors, market analysts, and financial media during a high-profile reporting period.
- Strategic Advisory: Partnering closely with the CEO to provide robust commercial insight, financial modeling, and strategic guidance.
- Operational Oversight: Leading, mentoring, and steadying an established finance team through a busy transitional phase.
To be successful in this role, you must be a seasoned finance executive who can hit the ground running without handholding.
You will possess:
- Proven ASX Listed Reporting experience: Extensive background operating as a CFO or direct second-in-charge within an ASX-listed corporate environment, with deep knowledge of ASX listing requirements and financial audit processes.
- Investor Relations expertise: Demonstrated capability in managing investor relations, shareholder communications, and corporate media discussions.
- Prop Tech / SaaS sector experience: A strong preference for candidates coming Prop Tech from the Technology or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sectors who understand recurring revenue models and tech metrics.
- Immediate Availability: The ability to commence immediately or on very short notice is highly advantageous.
