Role Description This is a hybrid internship role for a GTM Engineer based in Toronto, ON, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The GTM Engineer will support the design, implementation, and optimization of go-to-market experiments across channels, working closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams. Day-to-day tasks include helping configure and test tracking, instrumentation, and integrations; building and maintaining dashboards and reports; and analyzing user journeys and campaign performance. The role involves translating product features into GTM workflows, documenting processes, and contributing to playbooks that support experimentation and rapid iteration. The GTM Engineer intern will also help troubleshoot technical issues in GTM tooling, contribute to automation of recurring tasks, and provide clear updates to stakeholders on progress and findings.
Qualifications
- Foundational technical skills such as comfort with web technologies (e.g., APIs, basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript concepts) and willingness to learn GTM and analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience working with data (spreadsheets, basic SQL, or BI tools) to identify trends and insights.
- Interest in go-to-market operations, product-led growth, and experiment-driven marketing, with the ability to translate business questions into testable hypotheses.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes, explain technical concepts to non-technical partners, and collaborate across teams.
- Self-directed work style suitable for a hybrid environment, with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a program in engineering, computer science, data science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: Familiarity with modern marketing or analytics stacks (e.g., tag managers, event tracking, CRM, or CDP tools) and an interest in AI-powered products and Gen Z consumer behavior.
