Job Title: IT Data & Financial Operations Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: CAD 70-80/h
Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Data & Financial Operations Analyst to support IT governance, financial operations, reporting, vendor management, and process automation initiatives. This role will work closely with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, improve operational efficiency, and support governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
IT Financial Management & Governance
- Support IT financial management activities including spend tracking, governance reporting, and operational reviews.
- Administer IT spend approval processes and governance workflows.
- Assist with financial reporting, data validation, and governance compliance activities.
- Support continuous improvement of ITFM and vendor governance processes.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Support executive and operational reporting through data analysis and visualization.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting quality improvements.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for leadership teams.
Vendor & Third-Party Management
- Track vendor spend, renewals, subscriptions, and maintenance agreements.
- Maintain governance trackers and vendor reporting artifacts.
- Collaborate with Finance, SCM, and IT stakeholders to support vendor governance.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Support workflow automation using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with governance and compliance automation initiatives.
SharePoint & Operational Support
- Maintain SharePoint sites, governance documentation, and knowledge repositories.
- Support access governance, approval workflows, and operational documentation.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and process improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, IT, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, governance, reporting, financial operations, or business analysis.
- Strong experience with Power BI and reporting/dashboard development.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with SharePoint administration and document management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT Financial Management (ITFM), vendor management, or procurement processes.
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of SOX controls, governance, or audit practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, ERP systems, or enterprise platforms.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
