The Global CFO is a Group-level leadership appointment, based in Singapore and reporting directly to the Group CFO. You will own the full financial narrative of a multi-billion-dollar, multi-geography manufacturing group.
1. Capital Allocation & Investment Strategy
- Own the Group's global capital allocation framework — factory investment, capacity expansion, M&A, and geographic build-out.
- Drive ROI discipline across the Group's manufacturing footprint (India, Brazil, US, Europe, Taiwan, SEA).
- Lead financial modelling and scenario analysis for strategic investment decisions presented to the Board.
- Assess and structure inorganic growth opportunities including acquisitions, JVs, and strategic partnerships.
2. Global Financial Governance & Reporting
- Establish and enforce a Group-wide financial governance framework across all entities and geographies.
- Ensure timely, accurate consolidation of multi-entity financials under applicable standards (IFRS / local GAAP).
- Lead treasury, cash management, FX risk, and liquidity strategy across a multi-currency global operation.
- Interface directly with auditors, legal counsel, banks, and institutional partners at Group level.
3. Operational Finance Partnership
- Partner with regional and business unit heads to drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and working capital optimisation.
- Build the financial rigour behind supply chain and manufacturing decisions — cost structures, make-vs-buy, footprint rationalisation.
- Champion a culture of financial accountability across the Group's operating entities.
4. Corporate Finance & Capital Markets
- Lead Group financing strategy including debt structuring, credit facilities, and investor relations where applicable.
- Oversee and strengthen the Group's banking relationships and financing arrangements globally.
- Support potential IPO readiness, secondary listings, or capital market activity as the Group's strategy evolves.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance function across regional teams.
- Establish succession depth in key finance leadership roles across geographies.
- Operate as a trusted thought partner and sounding board to the Group CEO and Board.
